Mixing

Building the final balance of your track from the stems: the kick-and-sub relationship, placement of every element across the stereo field, section-by-section dynamic control, resonance and spectral masking treatment, depth and movement. The mix is guided by your rough mix and your references — the direction is yours; the engineering is ours.

Stereo Mastering

Final preparation of your premaster for release: tonal balance across the whole, dynamic control, harmonic color where the music calls for it, loudness (LUFS) targeted to the actual destination, and mono compatibility and phase-correlation checks. Every master is finished for its real-world playback context — streaming and club play have different loudness and true-peak targets, and they're treated as separate deliverables.

Stem Mastering — the signature service

Mastering from instrument groups instead of a sealed stereo file, following Reel to Reel's own method: Atmospheres, FX, Leads, Vocals and Percussion as groups — with Kick, Bass and Snare treated individually. The right call when your track needs intervention stereo mastering can't deliver with precision: leads lacking presence or glue, missing depth and openness, a kick and bass that won't lock together.

Vinyl Pre-Mastering

Technical preparation of your master for vinyl cutting: sibilance and high-frequency energy control, low-end and stereo-width management in the bass region, and levels appropriate to the physical medium. The material is delivered documented and ready for the cutting engineer. Scope: this service covers master preparation only. Cutting, lacquer, pressing and plant liaison are not included.

Mixing + Mastering

The full cycle, with a real technical advantage: when the same engineer mixes knowing they'll master, every headroom, density and spectral-balance decision is made with the finished record in mind — from the first fader. Approval happens in two stages: you sign off on the mix before mastering begins.

Additional services

Subject to assessment of the material, the studio also offers editing and timing correction, vocal tuning, arrangement reconstruction and drum replacement. These are quoted separately after review, because the effort varies case by case.

Urgent services

Schedule priority for Mixing, Mastering, Stem Mastering, or Mixing + Mastering projects, when the desired deadline is shorter than the standard turnaround for the contracted service.
